A/C and P/S delete questions
ok guys i just got rid of the a/c and power steering. my question is i still have the alt. located in the stock location and i have an a/c delete pulley on.(bought this before i decided to remove the P/S) i was wondering is there anyway to route the belt so that i can keep the alt in the same spot because i cant afford the $170 relo kit.
thanks in advance

I know there is some cheaper brackets than that, i know Jakesz28 who is a sponsor over on ltxtech whenever it comes back up is like 100 or so... Seem's kinda dumb to keep the heavy bracket and long belt if you can save a bit and get the right bracket and have a super short belt along with alot better looking engine bay...

Why not just go with the 1LE bypass pulley? I've also seen a bypass pulley on Summitracing for 60-70 bucks, it's a bracket with nothing more than a pulley like your idler, just there to support your serpentine belt. It's an exact replacement for your a/c compressor.

I just have a homemade kit on mine that moved the alternator to where the ac used to be. the belt only runs the alt and the crank pulley and it looks alot cleaner. Search for my Budget 10 Second Z/28 post and there should be a picture of it on there.

blackz93-thanks for the bracket it fits great. Also thanks for the speedy shipping of the belt. I couldn't be happier with the bracket. Deff a nice alternative to the others out there if your on a tight budget like myself.
