I do agree they have less rolling resistance, but they are a good amount heavier which I think would hurt. I could not believe the weight difference of the radials and 8 ply fronts on my car over the previous ET Drags front and rear.

Your right, much heavier but when you can get away with 25psi and still get mid to low 1.5 sixty foots the other end of the track is going to come alot quicker. imho
I tested a 28x9 side by side with the 275/60's on my car, same day back to back. The slicks were quicker to the 330 and about equal to the 660 after that it was all drag radial.
If you looking for a lighter 275/60 the Hoosier is much lighter.

Why are yall holding em in third at the big end. I had 3.73s and on nitrous it run out of gear and had to shift to 4th around the 1000 ft, and when it did go to 4th it just started pullin harder. I pretty sure thats why i was trapping 115 MPH.

I'm pretty sure the OP is running a TH 350, so he has no choice other than to cross in third.
Nitrous produces a lot of extra torque. That may be why you were getting away with finishing in fourth. When my n/a car shifts into fourth the rpms drop substantially and it quits pulling as hard.

The electric wp was worth about .08 to .09 on my car and the rocker switch from 1.5 to 1.6 was roughly .05.
The biggest gains were from getting the car to roll easier and be quicker to the 330'. I went from 12.08 to 11.70's just by working on little things.
My car only picked up a few hp from like 309rwhp to 314rwhp over the year and a half I did the "bolt-on dilly" however I moved up the available rpms up quite a bit.
I swapped out alot of parts on that combination trying to better itself, it was fun squeezing blood from a turnip. I still never finished my cold air set-up and a few other items I wanted to try.

Bias-ply tires are the lightest you can get by a huge margin. I swapped my skinnies (radials) on the front for some bias-ply fronts. The radials were Kumho 165/85r/15's. Each weighed 18lbs iirc. I had Moroso 2-ply skinnies mounted, each weighed just a bit over 9lbs. So right there I dropped 18-19lbs off of the nose of my car (unsprung weight which is HUGE), for $220. They aren't the longest lasting tires in the world, lol, but they are a cheap way to get weight off of the nose of your car and get it to 60-foot better.

As for tires, What about the slicks with the Stiff sidewall??? I was thinkin about going with M/T Dragslick Stiff sidewall with M5 compound. Are they still not as fast as a drag radial?
Those Hoosiers sound pretty good if they are a decent bit lighter.
And i also have the 185/65/15 kuhmos

I can take the front wheels on cars..new brakes, old brakes ect for example and be lucky to make 1 full resolution by spinning the wheel. This has to be worth something.

I would be interested as well since I find my car as well as many other LT based cars roll like crap.
