New personal best for my bolt on only LT1!
The new ford 9" and Circle D converter worked wonders for my bolt on only LT1! I ran a 11.97! Even though with an extra 50lbs of weight taken out the rear end screwed me over and brought the racewieght to 3120! But theres a problem... my shift light came on for fourth gear right before the 1000 foot! The rest of the way down the track i just held it around 5600rpms. So now i need to get a taller tire and guessin a 29.5" should do it? But anyways She should have a easy 11.8 in her once thats settled then need to get my electric water pump, roller rockers, and a tune then i should be pretty dang close to that bolt on only record! Heres the time slip:
When i ran my last best of 12.26 it was at 109mph so should be easy to get my 11.8. Also lovin the 1.57 60' with the wheels up!

Congrats on the killer times! What's the stall speed on that Circle D converter?
I'm hoping to bust 11's on my time out. I just bought a bunch of BMR suspension pieces, still need some fron drag shocks and a converter re-stall. I think that will get me there, If I can get it together before it gets hot and humid here in a couple of months.

very nice. this might be stupid but puttin a 9" in still makes u good for the bolt on record? actually that is stupid because it just has to be a full bolt on motor. anyways good luck with that i see you havin a good chance at that record take a bit more out of the car and add a few more bolt ons

I do agree once you do the rockers and hopefully springs you can then raise the rev limiter and shift points. This should then make it possible to go thru the traps with the current 26" tire.
congrats on your new best and it looks like it will really run hard after the tune and couple bolt-ons you have planned

Your car is laying down on the top end for sure. VERY IMPRESSIVE 60 foot times! If your ET matched your 60' you'd be running 11.6-11.7's easy. I would check your tune, data log a pass. With that extremely low mph, i'm guessing your car simply nosed over near the end. I've never seen a car that trapped a 106 in the 11's. You have the launch nailed.

Congrats on the new bests. I'm guessing you went with a traditional 9 inch housing? You should have checked out something like the Moser M9 or Midwest Chassis and Performance Fab 9 inch. I plan on going with the MWCP piece and with having it narrowed / setup the way I want it'll be lighter than a 10 bolt.

I have one of the first pass but it tried out a different computer to see if it would help out but made it miss really bad! Ill be going out there with a set of 28x10.50 Hoosiers that my good friend James(TXCAMSS) is gonna lend me to see i that will fix my problem of not enough gear. Thanks James! Ill make one of my friends stay for the whole night this time and record a few passes!

So you think if i were to add some 1.7 RR's w/ springs that would fix my problem? i know i need to raise my shift points as is(shift light set at 5550 so should be shiftin at like 5650 after mine and the trannys delay.) But i think i either have a high end miss or valve float if i hold it out any longer thats why i dont.
And yeah i need to update my sig lol The ford 9 w/ 4.10s is already installed along with the converter!
