golen engine service does a great job.
they have a 383 stroker with 12lbs of boost that makes 600rwhp.

a built 383 should have no problem lay down over 600rwhp with boost. should it not?
there is a guy on here with a 355 with stock heads and intake doing 575 ish to the ground...

Well brainstorm this anything over 450 rwhp is gonna have traction issues I have seen a true 420 rwhp car walk the dog **** out of my buddies turbo Nova that makes 750 rwhp . Now at the track its a whole different story

If you have a decent setup a set of DRs will be fine. I ran the MTs last year and am getting 555s this year again. You are gonna need a 9" and full suspension adjustability to get it down though. I can hook my 600+whp car in 2nd every time, and it will hook if i ease into it in 1st. This year with around 750whp its gonna be a little more interesting though.
And yes i drive this thing almost every day in the summer

If your a nitrous guy at all, stock cubes(stock crank), eagle h beams, wiseco pistons, le3 top end and 150-175 jets should get you ~600rwhp with all the bolt ons. I did 520rwhp on a 150 shot through my th400 and big stall, daily drove it, and drove it every where. 600rwhp n/a and juice will most likely outrun 600rwhp on a blower also.
What kind of et/mph goals do you have or you just looking for pure power? Everytime I see someone looking for pure power it makes me laugh because I know they will be getting beat by cars with a lot less power.
Another option is a turbo setup, running 11.5lbs with stock heads/cam put me at 10.80 at 127.8mph, a real budget setup but plenty fast for most cars on the street. It wasn't even close to as fast as my h/c nitrous setup though.

well the car does see some track use but only every few months. i wanted it to be as comfortable to drive as i can get it. i really dont have a goal as far as track times because im not sure what a realistic goal would be for a daily driven, full weight car. i wont be gutting anything, the a/c will still work. the back seats will stay in the car. (except when i go to the track). iv heard bad things about turbos on m6s. someone told me they wont even hit full boost until 3rd gear

You could do a setup like mine. Puts out 600 rwhp and is totally streetable. I can sit in 110 degree weather with the AC on without any issues. If you're not planning on doing your suspension, traction is going to be an issue.
