Default Spec Stage 3 clutch

Well, I was wanting some opinions on the Spec Stage 3 clutch. The other day I was screwing around and tried to launch my car. Usually, it just roasts the tires off, since I'm on the stock salad shooters with Kuhmo ASX 245's right now, for the crappier weather. I slipped the clutch and spun a little in first. Then, I hit 2nd hard, and it didn't feel like it was spinning. So, I let off as soon as I noticed. The smell of my OEM clutch replacement was horrid. It's still running just fine. But, I have a feeling I took a lot of life off the clutch right then. So, I've been considering new clutches. I found a local guy selling a Spec Stage 3 kit, with less than 1k on it, for only $200. It still basically looks like brand new. So, I think I'm going to go ahead and get it, since I don't think a stock clutch is going to hold up so well, once the DR's go back on, especially since I'm going to be running 315 DR's now, on my 17x11's. So, what are your guys' experiences with a Spec Stage 3. I figure, for the price, and with it still being basically brand new, I may as well jump on this deal.

My car has a stage 2 lightened, and he LOVED it, I have never driven it so I don't know personally, but I am going to keep it in there and hope it holds my power, I have been told by everyone I have talked to that they love spec clutches and to stick with mine!

Yeah, I figured, for $200, why not? Plus, I need something better than an OEM replacement, since I plan on going with a cam this spring. I don't really want to try an OEM clutch, putting down ~350rwhp, on 315 DR's.

If I were you, I'd buy it.
I have the 3+ and I love it. Very smooth to engage and depress. It's supposed to be smoother and holds more power than the st3, or any puck clutch for that matter. But the actual pp clamp load difference is minimal to the regular st3.

i have a spec 2 and while it was breaking in, it had the most clutch chatter you could even imagine. i thought i was gonna start breaking motor mounts, it was so bad. it took about 1k miles on it before it was even comfortable to drive. but now its been in for a few months and its nice and smooth. it still does get some chatter going into reverse tho
