Got a little further today. Y2KFirehawk came over and gave me a hand . Got the manifolds out (no broken bolts yay) as well as getting the new driver side motor mount in. Tried putting the driver side header in through the top with no luck. Needs to go in from the bottom, so the car has to go up much higher.

To those debating whether to do motor mounts or not, I definitely recommend it. The mount didn't look bad in the car but found it was cracking and scrunched up in a few places. The worst part is trying to get the rivets out.

LT installs are such a PITA. Been there done that a few times and I hope to never do them again! Right now with my AIR/EGR out along with the A/C lines its substantially easier but still need to use a rubber mallet to "force" the passengers side up through. Good luck man and post some vids when its done I'd like to hear it.

i wouldnt of purchased those if i was you. i did and was a pain in the ***. had major fitment issues. the driver side header will hit the steering knuckle and the fitment of the y pipe is gonna raddle. best way to install is get the car jacked up real high so u can tilt the header up.

Sorry I couldn't make it out, Chris. If I wasn't on call at work I'd be there. Got a call this AM and it made me afraid to leave the house.

Since the first primary is different then my super comps it doesnt surprise me you need to go through the bottom. Just get some good jack stands and you'll be okay.

When will you be operating again?

i got my lpps for 10 more bucks than those. but the lpps have a few fitment issues as well hits the steering shaft and the k member as well as the oil filter issue iv had had on mine, but for the money i think the lpps would have been a way better deal. has every one had the issue with the pass side hitting below the heater core?

Heater core with the LPPS? Do you mean oil cooler?

You need a 3G WWAN card, Harner

The ironic part of removing the passenger side manifold was that the manifold bolts weren't the hardest task, (after planning your attack route) it was all the ancillary stuff! (i.e. EGR tube at the collector, alternator support bracket attached to the front manifold bolt, O2 Sensor.)

The driver side engine mount wasn't too hard to get out, (which again, we anticipated that to be the "hard" part) it was getting the silly rivets out and actually opening the "clamshell" that took the longest

Are you sure you bought these and are not confusing them with LPPs? They only came out about a week ago and AFAIK, I'm the first on here to buy them. I've read that the LPPs do need some modifying on some cars to fit correctly but nothing major.

For clarification, here are LPPs:

Here are the ones I bought:

No problem, I probably won't be able to work on the car again until the weekend unfortunately. LMK if you are available.

Hopefully they fit good, i couldn't be happier with my PS LTs & Ory, they don't hit the steering cupler, oil filter ect., the only issue is they touch on the pass side, i'm thinking its the frame rail, but its been awhile.

They look nice, the flanges being flush is not a big issue, it wouldn't cost much at all to get them milled to be flush.

If I didn't get my PS headers for 250, I would have considered buying these.
