Question Jet Hot's W/EGR ???

i have the headers on and have been tring to get the EGR tube to hook up, but no luck so far. i looked at some other emission headers and the EGR hook up was futher out on the diffrent brands. Anyone using EGR hook up with there Jet Hot's and is there and after market tube you can buy that fits
Thanks In advance it is just to close to the block that is the problem

No you bought them from me. They were on a 94 trans am so I don't really understand why there is a problem. Now it is very tough to get it on but that's due to tight space with a set of hands back there. I had help from another person when I had them on. I have a set of the EXACT same headers on my 94 Firehawk too. No problem.

yea its very tight, the other two brands i looked at for the same year had the egr hook up a inch longer. so it stuck out futher behind the block. i seen one made for headers somewhere now i cant find it. i also have a respected shop here Pavlock performance putting them on and he just cant get it in

Any more luck with getting the EGR to hook up? I absolutely can't imagine it not fitting on. It was tough but it fit. Can you take a pic of it? I'm going to take a look at my firehawk tomorrow to see how close it is.

get a friendly one. I see as if u wanna go fast and still stick with emissions that will never happen. so its either emissions or go fast..

I have heard horror stories of trying to put the EGR tube back on with an A4 car. The EGR tube location should be the same for all of the years, so odds are you have the right year headers. You have to really manipulate the tube to get it to fit. It may require completely removing it and pre-bending it to fit. I think you might have an easier time bolting the bottom up first, and then wrestling with the top to bolt it to the intake.

Over here in CA, you wouldn't be full emissions cause LT's are illegal.
There is no performance difference between race style LT's and emissions LT's.

what got me is when i was at the shop he had another LT1 car there and im not sure what brand LT's they where but the EGR part of the header stuck out a inch longer than mine. It was a much better design than whats on the Jet Hots cause that one just went right on with no problems
