m29 or m28

how do i know if i have the m28 or m29?

Check the RPO codes, do you see M28 or M29? Its in the glove box. Also you should see GU5 if it's a M29 car since all M29s had 3.23s from the factory. M28cars had 2.73s from the factory, so you will see the RPO code GU3.

sell it to an auto x`er.i had mine for sale for about 10 minutes and had 3 guys wanting it.i sold it to the first guy that posted.

I put one in my 95, and I LOVE it! I had to get used to the shorter 6th gear (.62 vs .5) but definitely a noticeable difference. I plan on doing 3.73 or 3.90's in the rear with it after I eventually get my 385 built.
