Bbk or pace
pacesetter lt's are cheaper, easy as hell (compared to stock or shorties) to do plugs, and provide more power and room for growth
LTs will allow your engine to breathe on the exhaust side, which you need to compliment on the intake side as well with a good CAI, and that helps in the higher RPMS. Which is why they improve HP so nicely. Mac mids are also a really good choice if your car is dropped quite a bit and you have clearance issues where LTs would constantly scrape.
Keep in mind you'll need a new Y Pipe and O2 extenders. And unless you plan to solder and heatshrink the O2s to lengthen them yourself, you'll need to get the extenders. Otherwise if you try to use crimping butt connectors, you can (darn good possibility) change the signal the PCM receives.

You guys mentioned power band shifting, and then started throw mph numbers out there.
RPM's matter, not speed...
RPM, equal length, stepped, scavenging, reversion, flow velocity...all those play a role, not vehicle speed.
