Default M1 leaking heavily. Lucas Synthetic?

Ever since I converted to M1 I have a nasty oil leak. I was wondering if I used a quart of Lucas synthetic if it would help this little issue out. Anyone ever used Lucas in their LT1?

Why don't you just fix the leak? Where is it leaking from?

Id just fix the leak. If it was burning it slightly, Id try some Lucas, or even if it had some blow-by..But not a leak.1

My guess is you have high miles on the LT1? I converted to syn oil to my Caprice when it had 105K miles on the motor. Damn thing leaked like a sieve! I just kept adding oil till it worked into the seals, leaks stopped after about a year!

The main seals almost never leak on these.

Look to the intake, or the WP drive seal as first suspects, then oil filter adapter, opti seal and mains.

M1 is a mediocre choice Lucas a bad one.

Ok, I could appreciate all of these responses and thank you. As soon as I get a chance I'll put it on a lift and try to get to the bottom of the leak. The LT1 is not a high mileage. In fact, the motor only has about 4200 miles on it.
