So you sold all your cars got a nice new TBSS and a real light car with a big motor in it for your race car? Sounds like what I've been thinking I should have done lol. Honestly if I could go back I would have built a FD rx7 with a nice N/A Lsx in it. Don't get me wrong my car will be badass but EVERYTHING is custom and complex. Simple is nice sometimes.

It's painted now, in the process of getting wet sanded, buffed, and all assembled. Color is white with blue pearl in the first coat of clear then 2 coats of clear over that. The pearl tends to make the paint look yellow under flourecent lighting and even worse in pics under bad lighting, but in person it looks like a really pearly white with the blue standing out real good around the curves. It starts and runs, I will be having it dyno tuned in the spring.
Lightened up the doors, took the crash bar out, trimmed what I could off both brackets per door. I saved about 10lbs per door. Also got new hinges. I did this all to give the doors a better feel opening and closing. Not to worried about side impacts between the roll bar and the steel rockers on these cars. If I get hard enough in the side that I really needed that bar than I think I would be dead anyways. I welded new gr8 studs on for the door hinges and I epoxied the face of the bracket then bolted it tight to the door and let the epoxy cure. I just hate shity opening and closing doors so I did everything I could to to make them as stiff and smooth as possible.
Torque arm and the mounting bar are done and in. As well as some LCA relocation brackets. Since Im not 100 percent sure on the koni DAs I have on it Im going to have them rebuilt over winter and I am also going to get a set of strano springs and sway bars to replace the lowering springs and stock sway bars I have now. It's the only thing I skimped on the whole car and I don't want to second guess it once it's done. Cause when it's done it's done I aint tearing it back apart! I'm also going to get a set of SFCs and tie them into the torque arm mount since it spans from frame rail to frame rail.

Yeah, it's all just tedious little odds and ends that need done once it's wet sanded and buffed. Kinda excited this summer will be the summer it's finally done (knock on wood) haha.

Yeah plug access is a breeze! Only bad thing is the water pump would be somewhat of a bitch to change, the crossover would need to be unbolted. But it's worth all the other gains the layout offered.
