idling high
1500rpms at idle when warm and cold.
I've replaced the tps sensor thinking that was my problem because it was throwing a code, but it made no difference once installed.
i can't find a single vacuum leak on it, and I've searched everywhere i know to search. i've also replaced the tb gasket, maf sensor, and cleaned the IAC valve with carb cleaner.
the only things modification wise that are done to it are:
tb coolant bypass.
cut-out.
descreened maf sensor.
i need help, i don't know what else it could be.
any ideas?
my car idles fine, just way too high.
i just don't want to go blow money on parts that arn't going to do anything for me.
how much did you end up getting one from a junk yard for?

Check the voltage on the TPS. You can do this by tapping the blue wire on the TPS harness which plugs into the TPS. Turn the key to the "on" position and read the voltage. With the blades closed it should read around .7 volts. With the blades fully open it should read 4.5 volts. If this is off for any reason it can cause the engine to idle higher than normal.
You can also try to reset your IAC:

Whenever you get your car scanned you need to find out what code it is. It can be real helpful in the diagnosing process.

next time i take it to get codes read on it, i'll write them down..
i'm thinking it's my IAC valve because whenever i took it off to clean it, it wouldn't budge when i tried to push on it or pull on it.
Read what I said again. You need a volt meter. You need to tap into the blue wire on the TPS harness with red lead from volt meter. You need to ground black lead on volt meter. Turn meter on. Make sure volt meter is on a DC reading. Turn ignition key to ON position. Read voltage. Voltage with throttle blades closed should read approx .7 volts. Throttle blades at wide open position should read around 4.5 volts.
