Default LT1 motor mounts replacement???????

Well guys my motor is out and it's at the machine shop getting a make over, forged 355, anyway's while I have it out I'm wanting to change out the motor mounts because it is a 94 and I know they have never been changed. I need some suggestions on what to go with. Any help will be great: Brand, Solid, poly, stockers, what to go with??????Thanks Steve

Do anything but solid mounts. They will cause nasty vibrations and can even cause false knock too.

So solid is out of the question, where would be the best deal to buy at? I guess it would be best to get a deal with motor mounts and a tranny mount! I tried a poly trans mount before and I could tell something was wrong like it pitched my driveshaft because my car drove so stiff and grinded and whined some! Don't know if that pitch was causing this or not but I swapped it out with a stocker and it stopped. Hit me up folks let me know!

Just replace the tranny and motor mounts at the same time with the Energy Suspension (or brand of your choice) polyurethane equivalents. If you change them together, the engine/trans should sit at the correct height and angle and you shouldn't have any problems with rattling, thudding, etc.

Get poly motor and trans mounts. Get your drive shaft rebalanced or swap to a LS1 driveshaft.

if you add this with it and then add there shipping it was 3$ cheaper than summit, plus once you talk to mike kasser over there you will understand why i only use them now. shipping for both items was $7.50 and always have my parts in 2 days. and returning things is very simple with them. I know your going to choose what you want and i have nothing to do with the company. Its just once i used them i will always go back, even if its a $1 or 2 more just because lol

I like GM mounts, the Prothane/ES were too harsh for my tastes.

How does everyone else about this to harsh thing? What is to harsh mean? Is it going to feel like my motor want's to jump from under the hood or what?

Vibration mostly. But I don't know what all the complaining is about, I like my ride to be firm, it's more responsive.
