Honestly man it seems like a big issue is the driving. I've been able to cut 1.90 60ft times with just worn out street tires and went 8.20's with a mild H/C combo. Seems like you should be able to at least cut 60's in the low 2's. Ever had it dynoed to make sure it's making the kind of power it should?

why are shifting so low. are you doing any type of burn out. i say drop ur air press. to 20 do a rolling burn out. plus go to the track as much as possible. seat time is ur best friend.... plus check ur fuel pump, fuel filter and check 4 burnt wires

not yet no...I just got it running right yesterday...had a huge problem with the #5 cylinder misfiring all the time...turned out to be a spark plug wire grounding out on my header. I still have a SES light...going tomorrow to get the computer read

Dude. You need drag radials, higher shifting, and LOTS of seat time. Definitely get the tuning issue worked out, but 2.6 60ft's won't cut it if you're looking for good times.

your trap speed is horrid! when my car was dead stock from paper air filter to stock manifolds it was trapping slightly better than 101 and i was getting 2.1 - 2.2 second 60ft's launching from 1200 rpm on shitty rock hard BFGoodrich KDWS's

You need to learn how to slip the clutch a little.

Definitely shifting too early. Even a completely stock LT1 should be shifted at at least 5800 rpm.

As stated, get DR's and cut down those 60' times. A 1.8 would be something to shoot for.

Get the code read, check the car for burnt or loose wires. Check your fuel pressure.

Any dyno numbers?

first off, like said before you need some seat time, better driving will better that time some.

secondly, there is something wrong with your car too. i say either you have low fuel press., something wrong with the spark or your tune is waaaaayyyyyy off. sounds like it may be running reallly rich

shift higher, like at 6k rpm. if you have upgraded valvetrain (probably yes since you have a cam installed) then find out where your cam makes peak power, then shift it at that rpm. if youre making a steady curve up until 6400 and you shift at 800 below that, you are not gonna make all the power. so shift at the point where your hp peaks.

Ideal shifting points are at a few hundred rpm after peak power, not at peak power.

Surprised nobody has said you should have 4.10s in the rear for a 6 speed. Still does not explain your 15 second 1/4, but it sure doesn't help it either.
