sorry just read the post itself. you could maybe try fixing your 60 foot times, get them down a whole second and youll see 13s as said above. what kind of tires are you using? try underinflating them? like 20 or so psi i think is normally used, right guys?

I would love to......but it wasnt me that was doing it! At 3000 RPM launch I bogged and sometimes almost stalled. At 3500 RPM launch I spun an INSANE amount......couldn't find a "middle ground" and that spin was almost half throttle

How high are shifting, what rpm are you leaving at? Is the car tuned? Obviously your on street tires?

PIBSAW - Problem Is Between Seat And Wheel . No offense but you need a lot more seat time. Those 60's are HORRID. I think a Geo on an oiled down track can match them.

Get the short times where they should be and your ET will plummet . Practice Practice Practice!!!

:edit: Damn just took a closer look at your mods. A 2.7 60' should not "almost stall" a HC LT1. Even with a crappy start it should mph much better then that - those are worst then stock trap speeds. Scan it, check for crossed plug wires, pull every plus and examine them, do a leakdown test, check fuel pressure, etc. because something is seriously wrong. I'm thinking at least two cylinders are not firing.

I can't! Either I spun at half throttle, or I almost stalled, and all my launches were between 3000 and 3500

Damn! My car cut 2.3-2.4 60's on street tires and still ran 14.1 at 101.86 with the clutch slipping all the way down the track. Your mph is way to low to ever see a 13. Switch the plugs to NGK's and check the Opti. Hell if you have cats they might need replacing. Sounds like the car cant breath.

I ran a while back and ran a, (dont make fun of me) 16.047 with a 2.514 60 foot. I still trapped 95.99 mph. That is with a cold air intake, gears and a homemade tune. I spun worse in second than first due to oil on the track.

Even with a bad 60 foot you should be trapping alot higher than that.

Well I had those tires b4 my DRs and could get 2.0-2.1 60s @ 28psi leaving at 3500, it would either bog or roast them. I shifted at 6k. Again my car was basically stock, your car should be doing way better than that.

Why is the 60 so bad? Does it just spin?

like I said... at 3500 RPM launch they went into a DEAD spin even at half throttle....at 3000 RPM launch, the car bogged and almost died....I had to double clutch to get it moving again
