7/16 studs, trick flow guide plates, roller rockers
will 7/16 studs screw in stock heads or do i have to get heads taped for bigger studs? will i have any problems with pushrod alignment with the trickflow guide plates 30400623-8? went with new springs , now i have to get new roller rockers. i have comp magnum self align roller tip but new spring pressure is above 350lbs. i think i will try the summitt, jegs brand roller rockers they say pressure up tp 800lbs.

so the studs would be 3/8 bottom 7/16 top? the thickness of guide plate would raise the stud, would that require longer push rods? i all ready have trickflow 7.200 hardened push rods .i was going self align with the magnum roller tips, but now going nsa with full rollers and guide plates because new springs are about 150lb @1.800 install ,about 375lb open.

Wrong, the stud will sit higher, but the rocker slips over the stud, it's height remains constant. Milling the heads, lifter cup dimension change, valve stem length change, cam base circle change...those all affect the pushrod length, not the studs and guideplates.
