A4 or M6?
LT headers & exhaust w/ a cut out would be my first steps to making more HP. And w/o a doubt would give you some good power gains. Maybe some 1.6 rr's, gears if you are a A4 (3.73's)

M6...cool. Yeah I would def throw a nice set of LT headers on and some sort of exhaust set up... 3'' to open it up and let it breath better. With those two mods you could expect somewhere in the 30-40 rwh gain being you have a M6. Add a cut out on at the same time (which are awesome) and you will get a few more ponies added along with some awesome sound. Top it off with a mail order tune and you will have a new car.

motor help any name brands that are good along with exhaust what is a cut out?a mail order tune? Sorry not so good at this yet had the car like 2 months still learning. Where is a place that is decent price to get this from?

Exhaust wise I have always liked the 3'' Magnaflow. Good sound, not too loud and the cut out comes into play if you want that extra sound.
Mail tune, send your PCM into either pcmforless or Ion at madZ and have them tune it for your LT headers. A tune will get you some more HP and get your car running where it needs be.
