cc306 experience step in
Whats up guys!! Not finding what i want with the search so i'll ask here. I did some port work and milled .020 off my stock castings. I'm trying to figure out if i helped or hurt the performance with what i did. I dont have any before portwork track numbers so if anybody has any track numbers with stalled a4, full weight, stock headed cc306 cars let me know. Mods and times in sig.

I did alittle bit on the intake runners but not much. I'm on 26-10.50 et streets but i moved my lca position before the runs and it made my 60ft worse than it usually is. It went a 1.69 a couple weeks before this but had a bad miss above 6000. Still went a 12.03 @ only 111 though.

I agree with madspoon, you should not be spinning on those tires. What rpm are you launching at? If you dropped that 60 ft, you will be in the 11s easy. What size stall do you have? I think your car is right on par for where it should be. I don't think you hurt anything by doing the head work, but I would say gains are very minimal. With that being said, the best I ever got my car to run in the 1/8th was an 8.5 I believe, on crappy sumitomo street tires with a 6 speed and a crappy 60. But my car is designed for street use, not so much for track times.
Lca relocation brackets and Adj PHB. Stock springs and shocks with rubber springs isolators removed. With the lca's in the bottom hole i have gotten 1.69 60's but even with that i was spinning alot. Stall is a Circle-D 4c lauching anywhere between 1500-2500, doesnt make much difference spinning so much.
