Default What would you pay...

For the car in my sig? I love the car, however Ive been looking at C5's and Z06's lately and man do I want one. I have a great deal of money into the Trans Am. Full tubular K-member and A-arm. The only thing stock on the car is the Bottom end and Transmission. The car now has around 18,700 miles. If I do deside to mark it for sale, I don't want to be called a moron for overpricing it. The car is pretty much flawless though.

Pics would help to determine value, along with documentation and receipts.

I would have a difficult time paying high asking prices for a car that has been sprayed, or even has a nitrous system installed.

I would estimate anywhere from 5k-10k to be a reasonable price... pending pics

i think if any one still intrested in LT1,s Will pay 6500 $

if the car was standard u would ask even more because it has low millage on it
but when there is LE2 Heads, Ported Intake, GM-847 Cam, Full Bolt-ons, Spec3, B&M Ripper, LPP Longtubes, Loudmouth, 150 Shot, 9" No one will think about millage
they will think about 150 SHOT NOS

10K? No way. I understand the car is built pretty well, but that still doesn't affact the price that much. LT1's are not selling well but there's a possibility of getting around 6-7K.

But who knows until you try. It'd be better to overprice it and have to be talked down then lose money in the first place.

Ill be able to post pics later on. (at work) but there is noway I could sell the car for even 10 grand. I think what im going to have to do if I want to get a vette is turn this car back to stock, and sell all the parts. I just have way to many high dollar items on this car. I will say the car is flawless besides a couple hairline scrathes.

$5k-$7k, anyone looking for an F body is going to want an LS1 car right now. Best bet as you said is putting it back to stock and selling it for $3500 or $4k if its in nice shape and selling the parts, You are still looking at about $10k out of the car IMO.

Thats the problem with these cars. There so nice, fast, and stylish yet they arent worth ****. I will have to keep mine forever. No way I would take 4 or 5 thousand for mine.

Exactly. No one cares about modifications and if they do it usually repels people because they anticipate the possibility of purchasing a headache. Blue book value is what most anyone goes by with an older car. These cars are in no way any sort of investment.

mdacton, whenever someone offers me a good price for one of my cars they usually dont even have any money. I think people just like to act like they have money or either are trying to make conversation. Not to say your car isnt worth it though.

Left it at my buddies shop once and someone brought a cashiers check and offered it to me when I picked the car up.

I know what your saying......but these were not those types of people.

It isn't. It's a terd.
Yes it does depend regarding mods, but is rare since something like that falls under the "motivated enthusiast with money and would rather not work on their own ****" category...
