cant seem to find what plug to run in one either... im doin research for a friend of mine that doesnt have access to the net and i know nothing about the tune port motors..
1)will the stock fuel system be ok with a 100 to 125 wet?
2)what plug should be ran? i know cooler than stock but cant find a part number anywhere...
3)what timing to start off at?

I have TR6's in my lt currently......As for the TPI...go to TR6's pull 4 degrees base timing out and spray 100-150 wet through it. And enjoy, as long as it ain't the wimpy 305 you'll have a blast. Come to think of it, a buddy ran a 250 shot through a stock bottom-end 305 and it survived until he sold the car But I don't recommend trying that. Really cool to see a 305 RS thirdgen running 11.5's though...

you can run a 125 shot. My buudy has a 1le 5sp 305 car that has a 125wet on it w/ no problems. It runs mid high 12's all day. Tr6's are not lsx specific, that number is just for heat range reference and is a good heat range for that size of shot. Tr5's are hotter, tr6's are colder, tr7's even colder yet....

I think stock timing on a TPI is set to 6* advanced. Pretty sure that's what I set my buddies car to initially with a timing light for the initial start up. Then he got it tuned.

Yeah the TPI's have a goofy timing pointer. It ends up pointing at 0* factory (I believe) then if you bump it up to 6* it wakes up ALOT. I would go with a 0* timing running the tr6 or tr7 and then run a 150 trough it and see what happens.....Worst case scenario is you'll be replacing a $1500 Long block from *insert parts store name here*. Just my .02

i haven't a clue... its 80somethin model GTA? looks like a knightrider car but w/gold wheels.. he's restored the car to about 80% so far and wants to spray for some reason.. so i figured least i could do is try and find out how he could spray the car safely
