Did you check the rockers and push rods yet? I cant remember but did you actually measure for correct PR lenght? Or did you buy a kit for a stock LT1. You milled the heads and are using thin gaskets wich would change the PR length needed. That would def cause probs and possible head damage.

as for the plug wires, just humor me and pop the hood at night with the motor running and look for flashes of light. you'd be suprised how many sets of new wires I've seen arch

I.E. bad harness ground on the body or a bad connector like the ICM connector, coil connector, opti connector, etc

I'm going to try to meet up with Mike Jacobs this weekend and have him do some scanning to check my voltage at WOT. Any other things i should have Mike check while the laptop is hooked up?

I've had bad luck with the msd wires.. I run stock replasement wires from Oreily's with no problems.. I would also check the grounds and the plugs that go to the coil and opti and make sure that they are good

had the scanner on it again today and it's sensing alot of knock causing it to pull timing so my next steps are to have the rockers re-adjusted and also for the hell of it throw in a 160 as it is running around 210 most of the time. Gonna replace the plugs this week also, might have a cracked plug? We'll find out this week...

If it's pulling timing, due to false knock, also pick up an LT4 knock module. They don't cost that much, and helped me quite a bit after I got my car. Mine was picking up false knock from the flange on my shorties leaking, when I had them. So, I had a slight stumble. As soon as I put it in, the stumble went away and everything was good to go.

Will do Larry, Thanks for all the help and advice you've given me so far.
