Default Build Thread for "Grn Dragon"

Since I cannot post such large pics in my album here, check them out on my Car Domain site...
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2146367/9

I have the 385 ci LT4 and Performabuilt Level II with a 2200 billet stall waiting back in MT to go in the Car, the car will be going to MT in the next month.

Other parts waiting to go on...
-LPP SS headers
-Racetronix Fuel Pump Kit
-Innovate Wide Band Kit
-EFI Connection LS1 ECM conversion (I reworked the harness)
-60 lb fuel injectors
-Magna Flow Cat back exhaust
-Big Red Race Blow off valve
-other misc stuff

I will update when I get more done.

Glad to see things moving along. I've been checking out your car for years now and really appreciate all the custom work you have put into it. Certainly unique and one of a kind. Keep us posted when it's finally all done.

Dear lord put a bigger stall in it. That 2200 is a joke.

I would have put a bigger stall in it if I planned to race it much at all, but it is going to be mainly a street car so a 2200 stall will work better with my setup. If I had a 3000+ stall I would be right in the midst of my boost taking off and my car would be burning up $1000 worth of tires at every light (345/25 R20)!

My favorite car on this site. Do tell me about your headight mods, are you going to do a write-up? Pretty Please? and possibly sell me a bracket. Did you ever get the Polycarbonate put on?

I have actually been reconsidering the polycarbonate style headlights, I have figured out how to make the headlight covers look more like Acura Integra headlights and I am possibly going with that design.

The problem with the clear cover (C6 style) covers is the inside of the clear cover always gets moisture in it, and sealing the clear cover to the rest of the housing could be difficult.

The date that it will be heading back to MT is quickly approaching (July 24th)...

A 3000 stall would be just fine driving normal. Its when you get aggressive when you will burn em up, just like the 2200 will.

There are some neat designs and actualy non-flipup hedlight conversions on the Fiero forum, I suggest you check it out Fiero.nl. Those guys are awesome at custom stuff. But I'm dead serious, how much for the Brackets? I will do just like yours except with clear covers.

Update...
I took the car back to MT in August and got a bit done, but ended up minitubbing the car (we weren't planning to do that) so we didn't get the new tranny or the engine in yet.

I am still trying to learn HPtuners so I am ready to tune the car once I get it back here this spring.

Another "custom" change that we are doing is a single 4" exhaust split into dual 3" after the rear end and into 2 "bullet" Magnaflow tip mufflers. It should sound pretty sweet, and look great too.

Yeah, I'm also really interested in the headlight mod. I also had a Fiero and there truly is a lot of info there about headlight mods like this one. This is a nice improvement that I'd like to have done as well. Nice work!

I would love to get a set up for my headlights like that, I have always wanted HID lights but I don't wanna spend the money on a SpeedInc kit haha

Maybe someday some people can see it in person, or I can find a photographer that knows how to take better pictures, because NONE of these pictures give the car any justice.

I look at the pictures continuously for days or weeks without looking at the REAL car and I have serious thoughts on repainting it, but then actually going to look at the car always ends the thoughts. It looks 1,000 times better in person.

Some day soon it will be ready for professional pictures and shows...
