Edelbrock Shorties Review
Before all the get LTs comments, I WILL in the future, so i dont need the whole thread turning into 100 posts of saying I should get LTs. The shorties were thrown in with my new engine for free, thats why i have them. Its been 2k miles so far, and I am pleased with them. They make a nice deep rumble, and cut out the annoying rasp of the LM1 setup. They are a nice upgrade over stock and I would recommend them to someone looking to stay legal. I will post dyno results when i have them.

I had them for about 8 months. They were on my car when I bought them. My only real complaint was that I always had an exhaust leak that I couldn't find. I think it was the stupid flanges on them. They really didn't sound all that bad with no cat and a Flowmaster 80 series either, as long as I wasn't just sitting there revving. Then, like any Y-pipe setup, they had a bunch of rasp.

Had the same exhaust leak. They came with quality hardware (welds were fine, grade 8 bolts, and quality gaskets) so no complaints on that end. They made me wish I had LT's tho...

I have them on my z, catless y into a flowmasters as well. Purchased the car with them, dont mind the sound at idle, rasp isnt as bad. The flowmasters has an annoying high tone to it though. Plan on going with LT's, TD's once I get around to pulling the motor. Wonder how much I could resell them for...
