Default Cars to loud

i need to quiet my car down. everyone at my condo has been bitching up a storm with my car and how loud it is. i have mac mids no cat and a magnaflow straight through. what do you guys recommend i use to quiet it down ? add a resonator or what ? thanks for the advice

I would think a resonator would help some. Especially in the lower/idle rpm range.

thats what i was thinking, but i cant find a resonator with a 3" inlet and outlet that isnt going to make my car sound like crap. i love how my car sounds

No such thing as too loud. They threatening you with the law or something? Or else I would tell them to STFU.

i could get my parking spot taken away and have to park it on the street which is a big NO NO. ill also be putting in a cut out at the same time so when i wanna **** everyone off when i come home at 3 am i can give everyone a heart attack and they wont know it was me

ya...go **** yourself is what you yell at them as you're driving past. that usually does the trick.

i say "**** you" to them by flooring it when i leave for work in the mornings lol

does anyone know any part numbers or links to a resonator thatll do the trick for me ?

If it's not louder than a harley tell em' to ***** off lol! No one ever bitches about a damn harley, but soon as they see a car thumpin around "oh thats too loud".

I agree very much so. But Harleys are legally allowed to be loud - our cars aren't :[

only one way to remedy this, make it louder. maybe a cutout or something and every time they bitch open it up a little bit more. but seriously i have a hooker aerochamber and it very mellow till about 2 k rpms.

New neighbors , better yet go tell them your thinking of putting a new exhust on it but you think it might be alittle loud , as far as driving fast slow down in your own neighborhood dont cause your own problems there good luck witht the neighbors

so the best bet is to just change out the muffler ? summit has the muffler for just $67 which is pretty cheap... would that be a better course of action then putting a resonator or even a secondary muffler in line ?

I would get a catback system and throw an e cutout in it and call it a day..

I highly recommend a 9mm!!!! A set of high flow cats would lower the sound though.

The Aerochamber is a very good sounding muffler. You can buy just the muffler sure, but I'd just buy the whole catback and call it a day.
