Default To paint or not to paint that is the question. (block)

Suggestion: 94 Z28 Color blue/green. I have the engine out for a rebuild/heads/cam. Should I paint it factory (silver/black) or paint the intake and block, I was thinking red or yellow. I think blue would look best but there is something really wrong about a chevy engine looking ford blue. The engine will have polished fuel rails and valve covers. Thoughts......

I am a big fan of black. Just make sure you paint the block any color, helps keep the corrosion down.

both. sandblasted and washed to get all the oil from the inside out and then painted cast aluminum. i was going to do it gloss black but liked the olderschool look of the aluminum. next time ill also paint the engine bay gloss black instead of flat

I think black would look good in the blue car.

why not use a chevy blue. duplicolor makes it i think. dunno if its high temp though... lets see.

DE 1608 and DE 1609
GM Blue and Chevrolet Blue respectively. Its the Duplicolor engine enamel.
