Indeed - some. Goes hand in hand with may .

Every day there is an "Only 360rwhp? Thats cam only!" response to a stalled autos hp .

Would love to see the graph and some rough cam specs Elliot!

By peak rpm you could geuss the range of the cam, but obviously it won't be dead on so we'll still be waiting until Elliott wants to tell everyone.

I think I am going to switch to that magnaflow catback from my flow crap! 374 is really strong numbers for your setup on a catback, and bein it's only 10-12hp from the cut out being open is impressive.

I gained 17 rwhp with an open cut out. What exhaust are you using? Im pretty sure an open Borla flows almost as good as a open cut out, and guys only see a couple hp from cut outs

yea I don't like the sound of borla tho, I thought elliot's magnaflow sounded awsome and it appears to flow decent too. Ac you had b&b on your car when you gained 17 from the cutout right?

Wow, great numbers. Track numbers should be amazing, as long as your hooking as mentioned.

PC Lt's 3" ory, 3" magnaflow catback, cut out is located right under pass side rear seat.

Ya I had a B&B. I think it flowed pretty good though based on my baseline dyno and track times. Weird you both have Magnaflow and got such different results.

Thats the difference between a REAL N/A cam and an off the shelf grind that kills LSA for drivability to compensate for too much duration.

Most of the custom cams for NA use are between 106 and 108LSA.

Those heads are impressive - my cam was very similar to that one(227/233, slightly less intake lift/slightly more exhaust lift, on a 110LSA) and my heads were local shop ported "Stage 2" heads that I bought for a steal from a forum that turned out to be way too hogged out. My car made barely 350 to the wheels through the exhaust and TQ was about 10 less then it should have been everywhere in the rpm range.

That means your heads are making ~25rwhp more then mine with a similar setup - thats HUGE!!!

Props to AI for sure.

My guess is that one could be the cat back and one the race mufflers. There is a huge difference between them - the race bullets and race mufflers are both straight through designs with no louvers or anything and are almost no restriction.

Drivability is great! It pulls hard from the get go and has a butt load of top end. It just wants to go and go The Magnaflow has been a pretty nice set up...no complaints. I really think there is more in it over the 386 it put down. I'm going to have it dynoed at a local place that has a "DynoJet" and see what it puts down. I really think with a bit more break in it will be close to 400.

Dyno numbers are good, will lay down a few more after 1000 miles or so.

Get some good track numbers.

Mine only makes 450 to the wheels unlocked, look what it runs though.

To put those numbers into perspective my set up only made 375rwhp on a Mustang dyno thru a vig 3600 and a 12 bolt with 4.10s...and i run what I run at 3600plus pounds...

Todd, nice to see things are progressing. As you work with it, tinker with preload, alleviate restrictions etc. there is almost invariably another 10-15 #'s available somewhere in these setups. Because the Mustang dyno is so adjustable, once it's completely sorted out I would be curious to see what the DJ reads. However, that is obviously of little practical use to you now. Happy to hear the drivability characteristics are worth the few hp over 6k. Thanks for your business. Take Care,
-Phil
