alright guys, all test are done. Not a wiring issue, not the pcm. Just not getting signal to the ICM or the injectors so i am back to the OPTI. Does anyone know what to look for inside the opti because i am about to take it apart.

See if you can find somewhere to get the opti tested with an oscilloscope. I think it needs to be on the car though.

Got a spare opti laying around? Plug it in to the opti harness, key ON and give it a spin. You should hear injectors click and get some spark.

the reason i replaced in the first place was a no start no spark situation, i didn't do the noid test though.

So maybe your problem is not the opti if you still have the no start/no spark test after the new opti was installed.

I'm assuming all of the fuses checked out?

all fuses were checked, the only thing left that it can be is a bad opti, all wiring passed the test, pcm was swapped, coil is new, havn't replaced the ICM because of no signal going to it in the first place.

It has got to be a lemon opti...

o and i know the old opti was the original fault because i can hear pieces of it clicking around...

Did you ohm out all the wires connecting the opti to the PCM?

I doubt that a NIB Delphi opti would be a dud.

Ok status report:

Symptoms: No spark, no injector pulse

Replaced opti (2) - so problem is not the opti
Replaced opti harness
Swapped PCM's - no change
Checked fuses
Checked grounds

What year PCM did you swap in to test it?
Did you check the fuses visually or did you check them for continuity with your DVM?

Did you test the PCM power as well as ground? I want you to be sure that the PCM is actually on.
