Damn that rules out that. I know you hate me repeating this but are you sure the rockers are right?
I know you have replaced almost everything, have a mail order tune and had Mike tweak it up. Plus took the car to Speedinc for a dyno tune. Theres no lack of effort on your part thats for sure!! Gotta be something stupid. Call AI asap and see what they say.

Rockers were adjusted by Mike doing the motor running method... None are chattering abnormally either...

Car launchs straight and hard too...

I know i need to get with mike to tweak the shift points more once i get the gears in and think that could have something to do with it but still doesnt explain the intake backfire occationally... any ideas on that?

On the street the car pulls to about 6200 in first before shifting into 2nd and pulls smoothly all the way up there. It will on occation like mentioned before hiccup or backfire though the intake and then pull smoothly, can't really say if its pulling as hard as its supposed to be but pulls decently hard. Havent had a chance to experience the WOT 2nd to 3rd shift as i would be at like 120+ MPH and have no where to get up to that MPH around town. There is no studder once the car starts pulling but there is obviously something going on causing the hiccup problem down low... Would that be a timing/ignition issue or what else can cause a backfire back though the intake?

When my car backfired through the intake, it was my fuel pump/rubber feed line in the tank. It rotted out and just poured fuel back into the tank. How's your fuel pressure?
