Default 3 years now and still got the same issue(someone gotta know this)

So since i ve installed my LT4 motor 3 years ago i came accross a lot of small problem but with the help of a lot of member i ve manage to clear them up except for this bad one.I miss some time to work on it last year but last week i finnally installed my ltcc(working great) and its now the time to clear the last problem.

So when im at a red light or a stop and i wanna go, the car hesitate, burp, shake, advance slowly and suddenly the power came back.Same thing when im crusing(no matter what gear im using).Ex: im at 60mph and around 2000rpm no too much throttle, the car hesitate, burp, shake. If i give it some throttle or slam it,it will still hesitate shake but suddenly the power come back and the car pull really hard even at 12.3 afr to 6500rpm(rev limiter).

The car start perfectly.

So i ve change:
-5 opti(2 no name for test,1 gm ,2 msd)
-opti harness
-couple set of plugs
-couple sets of wire
-Delteg
-LTCC (will stay on the car)
-maf harness
-maf
-o2 sensors
and a lot more

Fuel pressure is ok,new fuel filter in.

I ve also made a log when im going from a red light and its bucking like hell. The log is not looking good at all.I can send it to anyone how would like to see it.

And it also give me two dtc code error:

MALF 42: EST Grounded

MALF 51: EPROM/Flash Checksum Fail

I got a ltcc so no more icm and the white wire is connected to the ltcc box

Thanks for the help

Eric

Sounds alot like a bad MAF or failing ignition but looks like you changed all that. Possible the timing is off or rocker adjustment is out of wack.

^ I was going to guess that too. The one in my 95 acts a little funny some times. It does pretty much exactly what he described.

I have the same exact problem with my LT1. It wouldn't be the MAF because mine is a 93 with speed density. I also replaced my IAC with no improvement..it drives me crazy.

It could be a circuit that's not grounded that should be, and there is extra voltage running through the wiring that is messing with one of the sensors. A friend of mines car would high-idle every 30 sec's for a few sec's, we found the problem to be a bad ground on the MAF circuit. Check the Connector aswell.

Could be the AIT Sensor too..maybe that one is bad, or the Connector has a bad wire in it, the black one ususally breaks inside it.

How about a vacuum leak somewhere? The PCM will compensate the mixture when in a steady state, but as soon as you open the throttle more, there's a lag until the PCM catches up with it.

There is a ground on the pass side motor mount ????(any pics of this)I ll check that when it stop raining because i dont think that i got one there....Its direclty from the battery?I will also change and upgrade the one on the driver side to the body just to be sure.

I will also check the IAT connector and wire also when it stopped raining...

Also my IAC is working perfectly(new) it move around 24 to 31 at idle wich is in perfect range.

By the way to everyone i got 3 logs:

Yep i got now 3 logs:
-idle
-normal drive 1st to 4th gear
-4th gear wot

So if anyone wanna look at them i ll be please to email them.

By the way thanks to everyone for not letting this thread down.
