Help about to pull motor!!!
Am I missing something? Im 99% sure everything is disconected unless there is something in the bell houseing or trans I dont know about. I Cant get the motor and bell housing apart.
Thought it was just the imput shaft to motor. Help!!!!!!!

I am also going to drop the whole front K member when it goes back in. Got a new BMR unit replacing the factory crap.
I really think our cars are twins. Although when the motor goes in it is going to have a Direct Port, 383, TFS heads and a pretty decent cam (24?/25? .61? .61?), so maybe now they will be distant cousins LOL

AC, are you transferring your current cam and heads on the new shortblock?
LOL! I had the exact same problem last year when I was doing the clutch on my car. We ended up quiting for the night and I made a post here on ls1 tech. The next morning I couldnt help but laugh at myself for how simple a mistake it was. I can garantee I will never make that mistake again, and Im sure you wont either!
Oh yeah just for some info to those folks, even though you drain the tranny when you go to pull the motor the convertor still has fuild in it and it poured out where the driveshaft hooks up when it started angle up and out. Not that big a deal just have something to catch the fluid when your pulling the engine and trans
