Thanks Im working right now!!!!

Are you not pulling the trans? If not i would say unbolt the bellhousing from the block.
You already saw this coming...
Drop it out the bottom.
I dropped my engine and trans together out of my car inside a one car garage with literally a foot of space on either side. I used and engine hoist and a heavy duty strap to lift the body off of the engine/trans/k-member. It's very simple. I can tell you exactly what you need to do if you want to go that route...

The only way you could pull the engine and tranny out together is if you have a load leveler or "happy hooker" as it is also called. Better have your radiator out too. Even w/out the transmission on the engine you will probably still have to tilt it to get it out and avoid contacting the radiator support.

I pulled it from the top with the Tranny attached, and that's how it's going back in too. I had the front-end completely off of the Car too, I had it posted in that thread a while back.

everything is out, rad, fans, heads, intake, wiring, etc, its just a short block attached to the trans. I have a cherry picker and chains. Anything else I need to do b4 I unbolt the bell housing from the motor?
Support the trans with a jack and pull the motor mount pins.
My friend says he actually raises the car on ramps, then pulls everything out from the top. He said when the car is on ramps it provides just enough of an angle to pull the motor and trans out.
I've done it both ways. If you remove the trans from the motor, the motor can come out (but you need to remove the accessory bracket to turn the motor counter clockwise so it lifts right up). Im sure there are other methods
I just kept the Tranny Cross-member in and unbolted the Mount, that worked well.
Pretty much what I did in a way..I raised the front of the body on Jack Stands and unbolted the K-member. Then I lowered the K-member, unbolted the Mounts when the Pully rested on the Sway Bar. The Sway Bar helped lift the Engine off of the Mounts when I lowered the K-member. Then it came up and out with the Cherry Picker.

Took mine out the top & didn't even have to remove the hood.
Dropped it back in from the top w/o issues. Transmission was removed.
I had mine on a ramped lift with the front end lower than the rear by about a foot.
There isn't any room for anything but the engine puller plate bolted in place of the valley cover with a chain hooked through the front hole. I leaft my A/C condensor in place and kept my A/C system charged.
Engine will go in and out no problem if you remove the valve covers.
Good luck.
