You haven't met the right one yet. Mine hasn't bitched once about any of my cars or projects.

 

Honestly for me.. when the bills are paid and the necessary **** is taken care of, I do what I want to do. I buy stuff for my girls car that she needs and take care of her to make sure everything with hers is good..in a way that is important to me so she can get to where she needs to like college and stuff, but I use my extra money on what I want.

Exactly..just some more than others. Combine it across the complete spectrum of things in life it's pretty much an even amount between all women.

My wife is OK with the car. She wont work on it but she does like to make a few passes now and again.

It helps that mine is a TRUE street car, never a scheduling hassle when one of the three cars needs repairs. I am putting about 300 miles a WEEK on my sedan this summer, work is just about 30 miles each way.

If I had a 500 miles a year car that was striclty a toy she might be different about it, as long as it is paid for reliable daily transportation there is no room for complaint. The money I spend modding, and caring for it is less than a car payment.

 

My wife helped me pull the motor and tear it down. She is in charge of disassembling and assembling valvetrain.

 

So is the engine out yet?

My GF is really patient about the car and so far doesnt mind that I spend all my money on it rather then take her to dinner all the time. She was cool as hell when we went to the shootout! She went to the store and bought all of us, tons of food/goodies for the trip and made sure we were all taken care of all weekend making breakfast lunch etc..
She even went to the strip club with us and had a good time!

but remember its all fun and games as you are NOT married, then when you get married most woman will bitch and complain about the car especially if you dont have other bills paid up before...others just dont care as long as ur not a piece of **** going out to bars and pickin up other woman, druggy of some sort, wife beater and actually have a job, they dont care otherwise, just take care of them if give them the magic potion A LOT they dont complain....
