I don't think it's the women that are bad, it's once you have kids....that ruins it all. My wife was fine with me working on the car, before we had kids. Once the girls came along, it's no more playing...keep it stock....yadda yadda yadda.

BTW Mike, Once you get this motor deal figured out, we'll get you down on your 60' time. It's only a few more parts and some fine tuning and we'll get you cutting 1.60's at least....if not into the 1.50's. (I got a few tricks up my sleeve, especially with a 60 out back )

Sounds like a plan Chris!! With a 1.5x 60ft, the car will go bottom 11s NA, maybe even high 9s on a 200 shot. !!!! Im saving for the kit now.

Just got off the phone with Red @ Comp Cams. They looked at my rockers, said yep it was fucked and are Sending me the High Tech SS rockers asap and they recomend that anyone with a similar application run the high tech SS rockers as well. Heres a link to the new rockers. These should be unbreakable and will handle 9k solid roller cams.

More work than it's worth. Going out from the bottom is far easier and faster.

Idk, I like the idea of dropping the entire drivetrain and being able to inspect it all at once, and not having to take headers off.. Another good thing about dropping the kmember is that it can be done with one person in much shorter time.. installation is tricky and may need a few people

It was so far torn down it was easy to pop out the top, but its going back in through the bottom, so it can go in complete with the trans then just wire it up..
Comp told me to send in all my receipts when Im done and they will take a look at them and see what they can do.

Wire it up before you put it back in from the bottom.
