so i see on some cars on here it looks like you guys get rid of the abs disribution block or whatever how do you go about doing that and pros and cons of it??

run custom lines into a proportioning valve, better braking feel, adjust ability, and better braking overall. You have to run a line from the master to the front lines and then a customer line to the rear with the valve on it, usually sits right under the car where the frame startes to curve up.

you can get all the parts to do it or a complete kit from sjm manufacturing.

I think on the weight reduction list its 15 lbs. also? Don't remember, its been awhile since I looked.

I did it with a 1989 Camaro Brake Block..you can kinda see it in the pic, I'll get on my photobucket later and get the close-up one.

thanks for the responses i was just wondering cause it looks a lot better without it and i just wanted to see if it help the braking or not

All you need are a couple brake fittings and a reducer from 1/4" line (for the rear) to 3/16" line and a brake T to split the front brakes

I just took it off of the 89 model and used a Flare Tool to adapt it. I had to drill out one of the fittings to run a bigger line.

Works like a charm

say i order the one from sjm do i need 3 or 4 channel whats the diffrence i suck *** with brakes haha
