What are the weak points in the lt1 bottom end ?

+1 more for stock rod bolts being your weakest link against RPM in the bottom end. SBC's are the same deal, get north of 6000rpm and stock rod bolts arn't up to the task.

everyone is talking about the rod bolts. i haven't seen one LT1 stretch a rod bolt. maybe some are getting lemons lol

Bearing and bearing for me. Went through 2 motors after bearing got ate by the crank. Just got the car back yesterday hopefully this one will last this time. Cross my fingers.
