Exactly. I have a SS3600 and it's not enough. djjab57, there is nothing wrong with a decent size stall as long as you buy a quality converter. Mine with the 3.73 gears almost drives like stock. It's still a lock-up converter, so you can have your cake and eat it too.

Makes since, thanks for help clearing it up a little for me as that is the only thing i hadn't made my mind up on yet. What sucks is last night i pulled the car out of the garage and i didn't have drive or over drive. When the shop tied up my o2 extensions i noticed they tie strapped it to the shift linkage i hope thats all it is. I had it rebuilt 15,000 miles ago but that was also 3 years ago

Wait, can you physically shift it into D and OD? If you can get it into P, N, D1, and D2, I don't see why you couldn't shift it into D, being that D is in between P and D1...

I found the m155 but it says for 95-97 I am using a 95 block but im using my 94 parts like non vented opti and water pump so i dont have to buy all that stuff again. Or do i need the one for a 95 is it tied into the other stuff i mentioned
