Default I need your help.

I took the T56 out to put in a TH350... now I don't know what to do. What do you think? T56? TH350? 4L60E?

What is your primary goal for the car street or strip or weekend warrior with mainly driving? I did the th350 conversion and love it but my car is mainly strip with vary rarely driving on the street if any. They are so easy to work on and maintain if you are allready doing it just keep going with it. How far have you gotten on the swap

All depends on what you plan on doing with the car. Is it going to be a street car, street/strip or stricly a strip car?

I'm guessing you put the TH350 so you could take it to the strip more? If you want a more consistent car at the track but want to maintain good street driveability and mileage I'd say 4L60e if it was me. If you want the car that is more fun to drive and slam gears, still get good gas mileage, kick *** at the track, and kill your rearend eventually, go with the almighty T56

I want it to be a track car. It will see very occasional street use.

I vote 4l60e, or the a6 conversion(if it's out yet?), but that was not an option.

I'm actually about to do the exact opposite. I'm going from a 4L60E to a T56. My car is mainly the dd with a few weekends a year at the stripe. Its all about what you really want to do. If you want to keep it on the street and beat up the track on the occasional weekend, I'd stay with the t56. If the exact opposite, finish up with the switch.

If its mainly a track car and you want consistency I'd stick with the TH350

another vote for the Th350 if its going to be a track car. Im in the process of doing a T56 to th350 swap because my car is pretty much a track only car.

Yea, I agree too if it's track only th350 all the way. Street/strip I would stay t56 or
4l60e as I posted earlier.

Just throw the TH350 in there with a 5000rpm stall like I did and you will never look back it will put a smile on your face every time you launch!

I guess it depends on your setup . What stall do you plan on running?

Well with the CC503 and a set of LE heads, I was thinking no more than a 4k stall....

Well I had a 3000rpm stall and it wasnt enough to keep me in my powerband. Plus were I moved they only have 1/8mile tracks so i figured the extra stall might help. Also went from a 12inch to a 9inch converter have not ran it yet I am pretty curious to see how much it helps out.

Also raised my redline up to 7000.

If you are drag racing the TH-350 is the best choice from your list. It has a 2.52 first which means less spread betwean gears than the 4L60E. If you are serious about going fast go with an 8" converter. You can get away with a lot more than 4000 stall. It really depends on how much street driving you plan to do.

Yea you definitely dont want to go to small of a stall and wish you went bigger like i did. Just do some research ask around what other people are running on drag only cars if thats what yours will be. People are running some pretty crazy stalls out there.

Well I don't want to go overboard and beyond the usefulness of the converter. I'd like to still be able to launch it at the track. LOL
