How much is my engine worth?

Yeah I know. Wish the track were closer, driving two hours sucks. There was just another street racing death in FL, when are they going to learn the whole US needs more tracks and they need to be open more often?
Eh I have a issue anyway, I love the twisties. Wish I had done more homework and I would have a long torque arm with the relocation mount then a body mounted torque arm.
Can't wait to get my hands on some Stanos/Konis and chop more weight out of it. Want the Watt's link too. Already got the Strano bars and some Bilstein HD's currently. I'd rather turn, haha now I'm throwing out a ricer excuse, but its true. Most people forget these were built originally in the 60's to do battle on a road course anyway, not some straight line rocket.

You like making turns, get into Kart racing. It's a lot of fun and fairly cheap. 2-3 grand for a decent used set-up. You can find some races on everything from 1/4 mile up to Road America size.

Got LSX/4l80E on the brain.
I will sell it complete all the way to the headers, waterpump, ecm, harness etc.
For those of you who dont know what it is:
4 bolt vette block 383
Eagle 4340 rotating assembly
Forged flat top pistons, Mahle rings(can spray if wanted)
Half filled block, zero decked
1 7/8 Hedman headers modded to work with a/c, jet hot 2000 coated
CSi electric water pump
Comp solid roller 254/254@.050......670/650 lift 108 LSA
Comp endurex pressurized lifters
Comp pushrods
RHS 235 heads converted to work on a LT1, flow 319@.700
DRE shaft rockers
Canton pan
Melling pump
Super vic intake, billet rails, 42lb injectors
Aarons sheetmetal elbow with monoblade TB
ATI balancer
SFI flywheel
LT4 starter
Engine is fresh, less than 1000 miles. This is a STREET engine, runs on 93 pumpgas. Has 6000 miles total on it. Has ALOT left in it. In a 3000lb car with the correct converter could possibly get into the 9's all motor with the tune tweaked. I get up on the interstate and drive 70 miles to and from cruise ins with it, recently drove 60 miles to the track, made 4 passes pulled the tops out cruised the beach in south Ms and drove 60 miles home.
Just curious, all input welcome.
In a 3600lb car with a tight converter it ran 10.58@126. WIth GM opti and GM ecm.

That cam is tiny for a 383 solid roller .
A solid roller is allowed another 10 or so duration for similar drivability traits and power curve to an HR cam.
Using that logic his cam is the equivalent of a low 240s HR, and is therefor no less streetable then a lot of other cars on the forum - maybe even more so due to his fairly tight stall ...a lot of shops offer cams in that range for ported stocker headed 383s!
Its a shame as soon as somebody says "Solid Roller" on here everyone screams "RACECAR!". At one point ALL cars were solid roller...

Isn't that the truth! Solid Roller is the way, long as you don't mind doing a little maintence from time to time!! Really It's pros out weigh the cons an almost every situation. Any car thats not a dd would only benifit by switching to a sr!!! I mean how much harder is it really to pull the valve covers and check valve lash periodically. Im thinkin about building an lsx sr iron 427 someday if funds allow!
