The skirts are slightly shorter ...fully coated ...-6.5cc valve reliefs.. The block had to be notched another 1/4in more than with my previous clearance for when it was a 408. If you go even 408 definitely go with 4 bolt mains. I can see where the caps were walking before.

I think its my aeromotive FPR ...It's only running rich at idle...seems like I need bigger injectors according to my A/F ratio at full throttle. Im thinking 46lb

Cool build, MTI built a few big cube LT1s in the late 90s, one I remember was a 409 for an Impala, the other was a 400+ cube motor for a red LT1 Z28.

I saw some one local selling your old nitrous motor. Made damn good power.

They probably would be with high fuel pressure and race gas....I found some 60#'s last night I have decided to go with.

You made 570 to the wheels? Or at the crank? Auto or stick. With the heads and throttlebody in the above pick? Those look like stock head castings.

Enquiring minds wanna know, AND see a dyno sheet.

Alek's 355 LT1 with a solid roller made 500whp still using the factory castings (i think). I don't find it that hard to believe a 408 made that kind of power.. who knows. I'd like to see this be true. Get a video of it being dyno'd or something
