Default LT1 410 stroker fired up ...videos comming soon

Well after countless hours of cussing...sweating....and throwing money at this car like a fresh 18yr old stripper I finally got the beast fired up. The motor has definitely earned the nickname "Notch" because every last part had to be cut, grinded on or beaten to fit. I am looking forward to getting it broken in and dyno tuned so videos will be posted soon. wish me luck guys

Don't see one of those every day. Just curious, what heads are you running to feed that many cubes?

Very cool, can't wait for some vids.

I am running max ported Trick flow heads. The block is a stock lt1 2 bolt that has been splayed with 4 blt Arp studs. It sounds mean guys. Can't wait to get it tuned right. At the moment it is running very very rich. Some FAST engine management is definitely in the near future for this thing.

I thought the same thing, when I saw that.

Id upgrade headers, before I get the engine tuned. Then you only have to tune it once

Sounds like a unique build though, keep us updated.

I'd get it tuned first, cylinder wash can ruin a nice build.

You dont need a FAST system, 94-95 ECM and a 85mm MAF is all you need. That much stroke, that small of a cam aint gonna make any power over 6500 rpm.

Why such a small cam? I woulda put a 270@050 solid roller in that bitch with a quickness. Or at least the biggest hyd roller it could stand.

Why shorty headers? That many cubes needs a 1 7/8 header.

What piston, crank, rods did you use on your 408 build?
