If you have your doubts ..hey you have the right to add your two pennies ...but If you think that 408 couldn't have possibly made those numbers you might wanna subscribe to some ricer website or something. But anyhow vids of the 410 on the dyno will be coming soon once I get it right for tuning.

this was at the crank on the 408. those are max ported custom trick flow heads with max ported intake. The car is auto. The pic is of the 410.

Right... what's another measily 76hp to the wheels...

Track times and dyno sheets would be extremely helpful with your claim.

Better yet if there are any doubts I will be at the LSX shootout in memphis next month then you can see it with your own two peepers. Also check out comp cams and talk to matt summerfield where they made 10 more horses than mine with the same setup and pump gas.

So everyone can see your old setup make 576rwhp at the upcoming shootout? I'm thoroughly confused...

Pretty sure he said 576 was at the crank.

OP
A dyno sheet or a timeslip, would be great for all of us that wont be attending the LSXshootout

didn't make 575 to the crank garenteed...... if it did why does it need tuning etc if it was on the dyno? They hooked shorties up on the dyno?

So if I dyno my motor on alky with 2" headers and then put it in the car with a gas 750 and 1.75" it makes the same numbers?

Im stil calling you out, I say your FOS....prove me wrong

If you dont believe a 408 cubic inch motor can make 576 HP at the crank then WTF would convince you to ever worry with modding such a piece of **** motor??? People in this section make no ******* sense sometimes.

sure it can be done..... **** you can make 750 hp with a 383, you can make 800 with a 358..... thats not the point.

Noone said it cant be done, I just said he didnt do it. obvious reasons, I wont state them b/c I dont like to hurt people feelings. I wish the fellow all the luck in the world, but no need to tell lies

So you are calling him a liar, but wont finish your statement cause you dont want to hurt his feelings???

576 HP IS NOT that ******* complicated at the crank. We are only talking 480-490 RWHP. Takes money, but nothing fancy. AI, Loyd Elliot, trickflow, or AFR heads, custom cam, CNC'd intake, Long tubes, Arizona speed monoblade, blah blah blah good tune and your done. No sheet metal intake or AFR 215 raised runner heads with shaft mounted roller rockers required. People should quit making HP so damn complicated... just takes money. Going 9.6s and faster reliably is complicated. Not building a 576 HP motor.
