ARP rod bolts?!
So I found some ARP rod bolts for a good price through summit but im still questioning whether it'll be worth it or not. I think it will but my buddy who knows more about this sh*t then i do says it won't be worth it. Im doin a basic rebuild on a stock LT1 block with spun rod bearings and i plan on spraying a 100 shot through this rebuilt block. So to prevent this block from spinning more bearings on spray, i think i should get them just incase. But i just need another opinion on this from an LT guy because i plan on sending this motor to the machine shop tommorrow. Any response is much appreciated. Thanx

Alrighty, well im convinced so far. Im not doin anything crazy like a stroker or anything, just all new rings and bearings, hone etc. with stock internals. But even with that said I plan on pushing the motor alot since i havent driven my car in a year now so my right foots itching lol. Plus with me spraying it I figured the ARP rod bolts definitely wouldnt hurt anything seeing that almost every LT motor that ive seen blown has spun bearings.

If your in there doing all of that work I would go ahead and do main studs and head studs while your at it. the Rod bolts will help significantly and if you ever plan on pushing that motor anywhere past 6700 then it would be a smart move.
