An AI package would likely get you there. Give them a call and see what they can do for you.

I'm close to 550, IMO.

A good set of ported heads and a 236/242ish hyd cam would do it.

I would suspect that the first thing you might want to do is find people who have met the goals you've set for your own project. To manage 550hp at the flywheel a setup should produce at least 450rw & closer to 470-480rwhp. If you only consider parts that have proven to consistently manage that or better, your options pare themselves down rather quickly.

Anticipate $3-4k for a quality setup that will meet your goals, and most importantly, stay together. Good luck with your project!

What he said. There's no reason to go aftermarket castings with your goals.

I think a set of the larger AI CNC'd GM heads with a strong hydraulic roller could come close to this. My old motor was a 355 with untouched TFS heads (255cfm), 11.2:1 CR and a 234/242 AI hydraulic roller and IMO it made about 510-525 crank. 11.40 @122 in a 3500lb car.

that would be a very poor attempt.

Trickflow heads and 247/258 108 LSA with 11:0:1 got me right around that area.

I would highly recommend Ai or LE. Call them with your goals and see what they say. I probably could have saved a lil money had I had done a lil more research instead of diving into this project. To be honest I could have probably gotten a lil closer to 580 at the crank if I went more aggresive with compression but I am gonna spray the ever living **** out of this motor

Im going to go out on a limb here, and say that my setup should be in that HP range.
TFS CnC 215cc heads done by AI, AI HR cam/valvetrain, AI ported intake w/Monoblade TB.. Comp. is something like 11.7:1 on pump gas. Im running on a mail order tune from Ed.

I was shooting for between 575 and 600 flywheel at first, but now it is looking like I will tone down the cam and who cares what it makes, as long as it runs 10s on motor.
