Default Spicer!

My U-Joints are Spicer soild units too.

Yep, very strong, no grease fitting to reduce the strength!

Wow, lucky. Airbags are expensive as ****, and they are usually an automatic total loss for older cars.

We run Spicer greasable U-joints in our Dirt modified racecar. It has a 820 horse big block in it and we have not had a problem yet. I know its on dirt but we can hook up pretty good with 14" wide soft hoosiers on the rear. We also change the u-joints every 300 laps, just to be safe. I might have to look into the solid units for the Future.

All mine have fittings.. I'll find out how good they are next time I'm at the track.. I haven't launched on them with the T56 setup yet.

You and this guy....
https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-raci...f-airbags.html

Need to get together and have an airbag day where you both help each other.

That's the second one of these odd occurances of things breaking and setting off the airbags. I've honestly never thought of it happening before until I read the torque arm post.

believe me yes you can. You can overtigthen them enough to damage the ujoint bearing cup. I still would find it hard to believe that would be the cause anyways, as he would know if he messed them up that way.

What brand Ujoints were they?
