Ok so here is an update.
I put my old steel driveshaft it, and they towed it to a body shop. They called me asked for what happend and I told them.
Today my dad said they called and said the adjuster saw no damage under the car from the driveshaft (even though I know there is a dent from the driveshaft hitting the undercarrage).
Now, he probably couldn't see it because the unbroken driveshaft is in there.
now Allstate is trying to get out of it because they said they have never seen the airbags deployed like this, and they are blaming it on GM............. =|

I hate to say it, but I've heard these horror stories about Allstate before. They are trying to screw you, so don't let them. It might even come down to you needing a lawyer. Google "Allstate Sucks" and you can read some of the stories for yourself. I avoid them like the plague.

I fixed my 02, it was a wreck. and I hate to say but it broke everything under the dash, however the way it was hit it could(or at least some of it) been caused by the damage of the wreck. However the dash pad will have to be replaced. As well as both bags. I as well thought that the moduals were good one time, but I could be wrong as well. If possable Id remove your upper dash pad/cover cause they scratched mine all to **** when they removed the old glass

If you do the airbags yourself you will need a new clock spring. It goes behind the DS airbag. I highly recommend you use a new unit. I know people that have but used units in after an accident and they failed the next time around. The module itself should be fine though.
