Is the 9006 thing a kit or just a plug in bulb? I really don't want something to complicated. I just want plug in, it works.

9006 is the bulb type. Its common in most gm applications. Although you could probably use a different bulb. since you would be using rtv silicone to hold the bulb in place, and not relying on the bulb socket to fit the housing.

I'm new to the world of HID, what watt? 35 or 55? I want like a white bulb but i don't want them too hot (physically) as to worry about melting my bumper (I'm gonna be using black headlight covers). And is this the full kit (ballast and all), and does it just plug in (other than prying out my bulb and rtving the new one in)? BTW thanks kinglt-1!

is the 9006 just for the low beams? Im looking for a kit to fire in on my 93 trans am. The problem i am having is that my car has the 98 front end conversion so all i want is the low beams and the fog lights. I doubt i will ever need to turn on the high beams with the HID kit on.

35w is plenty. Pretty sure as long as it's a digital slim ballast design both will be fine tho. Just make sure not to buy analog stuff. I recomend 25w for the fog's. 4500k is white and yes it's a full plug and play kit, other than you having to modify the housings to make them fit.

I actually don't have fog lights. Will that be a problem?

LMAO! So true, that's why I really try not to get on it on public roadways. Acceleration isn't illegal as long as you don't speed.

Looks great. I would love to have something like that but I'd have to have matching hi beams and fog lights.

my car does not have fog lights, so I am good there. The 35w hids are bright enough you will never need to use the brights imo! Unless you were using headlight covers, but then you could use the 55w hid's for the brights.
