I has a few. I had to get one a few years ago and the only way GM would order them is if I bought it bulk. Shoot me a PM w/ your address and I'll rummage through the garage tonight and find them and send one out.

You must not have read....
The dealer (at least in Brians case) had to ORDER it, and made him buy in bulk.
Im sure my podunk retarded chevy deal wouldnt have it, and would want an arm and leg to order it.
Brian gave me the hook up and it will work out great.
Thanks for your concern though.
I sell fasteners, among other things, for a living so I could easily source it. I would have to get at least 25 though and I'd rather have the GM piece in there. Just how I like doing things.
Thanks again SS RRR

That doesn't mean the shank of the bolt will fit. Maybe there is a bolt now, but years ago when I was searching for one the only bolt I found would indeed thread, but the shank would not fit through the crank hub, nor could I find one the correct 2 1/4" length.

ARP makes small block balancer bolt kits that come with a heavy washer. 200,000 psi tensile strength. At 2.47 inches UHL, they are .22 inches longer than the needed 2.25 original bolt. I'd think that there's additional depth in the crank snout. 12 point heads, you can use them to crank the engine. Three different head diameters:
OR:
You guys could just use a standard ARP bolt. They rate them at
170,000 psi tensile strength which is stronger than grade eight hardware.
In five packs:
7/16-20 2.250
Black oxide, hex head: 753-2250, $15.00 at Summit
Black oxide, 12 point head: 743-2250, $16.00 at Summit
I would NOT use stainless.
You all have downloaded to your computer and studied the ARP catalog, right?
5/8 head, 7/16-20 134-2501, $22.00 at Summit

1-1/16 head, 7/16-20 234-2502, $26.00 at Summit
