I did a datalog the other day with Datamaster. A key on engine off map reading was 103 kpa. Under WOT the map reading never went under 100 kpa, and got close to the 103 kpa a few times. This shows about as little restriction as you could have with a full intake setup.

.
This is good to hear but does the suncoast ws6 hood have the same design as the factory passage?

I just dyno'd 535/555 on a 150 shot so I'm curious if there is a limitation to the LT1 hood.

i know this is going to become an LT1 vs LS1 debate but how can the LS1 airbox pull in more cold air when the LT1 box seals to the hood and prevents hot engine air from coming into the airbox. IIRC the LS1 WS6 airbox gets air from both the nostrils and under the car and the air coming from under the car hits the hot radiator on its way up and the box isn't sealed off. i don't see how the LS1 box can be superior to the LT1 box.
I think the LS1 lid does have 1 major advantage over the LT setup. That's the fact that it doesn't heat soak like the lt1 setup. On a sunny 85 degree day, my intake temps will be pushing 140+ . I'm sure it doesn't help my car is black but it is what it is. @ night or a cloudy day, my intake temps don't vary more than 10* from the outside temp which shows the design works.

Only way you could outrun me is on foot, And I am not so sure about THAT.

Stayed tuned, its going quicker soon enough.

AND btw, if you do a little research on here(and I know you like doing research) my car is right inline with the other cars on this board with similar combos. Only difference is mines a STREETCAR, all the others are racecars.

Roadtrip120
Speed density
and the like all make similar power and run similar numbers, but mines a streetcar.

I think you are the only one I've ever read about who blew their turd up while it was idling.

I would rather blow mine up monthly running 10.50's than have a solid roller 396 running 11.80

AND FYI I blew it up on the spray, yeh I am the only guy on EARTH to do that Spray is now off and has been trouble free the last 2500 miles.

You can try all you want, your turd will never run what mine runs. I about to move into the low 10's on the motor, you gotta spray to run low 11's. What a pile.

As far as whats done to mine LMFAO. I got a flat top 383 with some decent heads/intake, solid roller like yours and a auto with a converter thats way too tight(stalls 2900 on the footbrake, flashes to a whole 3500 LMAO) Yeh I got a cutting edge combo.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiight... My **** is now an exact clone of yours. You will type anything to excuse your turd.
So where did you come up with this iron oil psi figure that all solid roller applications should run at hot idle? ? I could have sworn you posted up whining how you started your turd, let it idle and the turd seized.

I am APALLED, you didnt do your research which you are so fond of LMAO. You are referring to a post WAAAYYYY back on Cz28.com where a guy started his car, let it idle to warm up and it wiped a lobe....on his solid roller.

I got that info from cam manufacturers, people who run solid rollers and who have had them fail BECAUSE of low idle oil pressure. DUHHHHHHHHHHHH

Come on man, geez.

Mine may be a turd, dont pull up beside me. The turd WILL crack that *** for ya.

What makes mine SO different? I got decent heads and intake...so what.

What mkes mine slightly different is I am USING the power I make. I am about to be using it better.

Excuses? I am 1.3 seconds quicker than your pile, you got 13 more cubic inches, why do I need excuses?
