1984 G body... frame and all suspension powder coated. Its 75% back together.

8.5" rear with new detroit trutrack posi
dbl adjustable uppers
Solid lower control arms
QA1 weld in coil overs in the rear
Poly bushings all around

New springs in the front
QA1 shocks
quick ratio steering box
new fuel and brake lines
New fenders - shaved fenders
New inner wheel wells
shaved tailgate
shaved antenna
SS nose

iForged rims
mini tubbed
just the stuff I thought of off the top of my head. I have well over 45K into this thing.

I'm well immersed into the g body world. My pops put together a 79 Malibu with a 408ci BBC. Man does that car rumble!

my next car I am going to build is a malibu wagon. I can't wait to have an intimidating fully tubbed LSX wagon that can pull the tires on the street. I'm a bit of a show off. lol

It's really a hard question to answer. It matters what those heads that are on there now look like as well has the cam you choose for the motor, you could gain 10 or you could gain 50 depending on current parts and the future setup. When CR, Head and cam is properly matched you can make some serious power. IMO I'm well into the 600hp range, when I had a bad head gasket and a couple of burnt plug wires I rolled 463rwhp @7400 SAE Corrected (Not STD) on a high load land and sea dyno with an unlocked 4200 converter on a 4L60E w/ 4.11 gears in a Dana 60 and Slicks. This dyno will read lower than a dyno jet but it does give more realastic tuning scenarios. Now the car is fixed and is running an extra 1/2 point of compression but I haven't been to the dyno yet. With the right setup I will gaurantee you that the AI heads will make stupid NA power.

thanks for that reply. I'll find the cam I have and post it up. The heads are stock ported to the max. I want to say 847 but I may be wrong...

Do you have any info on the heads.....ie. Valve Size, combustion chamber cc and machining data, intake and exhaust runner sizes and cfm #'s.....a bigger port doesn't necessarily flow as much as a smaller more efficent port.

ahhhh... I have all that info back at my house in Lauderdale. I think he said he got them to 176CC or something? Its been so long. I'll need to call down there or maybe take a trip back that way.

176cc is pretty small I'd check back with him....I'd give AI a call and talk to them
