anymore specs on the pistons?

I'd say impala either way unless you're already at 12:1 undecked, unmilled, with stock gaskets

Mr. Gasket MLS, keep in mind you can't use the gasket for an iron head on an aluminum head, it has a steel ring that wont crush in the alum and you will have to then mill the crap out of the heads to reuse them

Not true. MR G 5716s are listed as iron head gaskets but work great on aluminum. I just pulled them off my old motor and the heads were perfectly fine.
Countless guys use them to bump compression since they are .026 compressed and Ive never heard of a problem. Not even a leak.

true that!

As far as how much compression on a stock car it's at least 11:1, but it might be slightly more from calculations some have made.

I used victor reinz #5898 .026 when I put aluminum heads on my 96 impala. They were stock camaro heads I had ported.I installed them three years ago and have had no problems at all.I used new head bolts and my manual said torque to between 65-75 and I went to 70.Napa sells these gaskets.

is the block getting decked or heads milled?

with a 4 valve releif flat top I imagine the SCR will be around mid 10:1 with stock gasket, undecked, unmilled.
